20 Nov Hair Care In Cold Season
Winter has come and has brought times of coziness and endless talks beside the fireplace. Unfortunately, this does not hold for hairs for this cold season. Winter brings troubles like frizzy hair, dryness, dry scalp, dandruff, and a plethora of other problems for the mane. Do not fret as this piece of writing has got you covered. We have compiled some ‘not to be missed tips’ for haircare specifically for the winter season. Take a peek!
1) Cover Your Hairs
The cold breeze in winters does a lot of damage to the smoothness of locks. It is recommended to always cover the hairs and not expose them to these icy cold winds. Go for satin scarf or caps as cotton and woolen caps cause friction. This results in hair breakage and split ends.
2) Minimize Usage Of Iron Sraighners And Curlers
One of the basic products that ls used to style hairs is straighteners and curlers. Both of them have adverse effects on hairs as the heat that is produced by these instruments (iron rods), makes hairs dull and extracts natural oils from them. This makes hairs dry and frizzy. It is recommended to minimize the use of these products and a smoothening serum should be used whenever one uses straighteners or curlers.
3) Anti-Dandruff Shampoo
Dandruff is one of the most prevalent hair problems that the winter season brings. A shampoo containing zinc pyrithione, salicylic acid, and cold tar should be used as these helps to whisk away dandruff from the hair scalp. Having said that, it is also advised to shampoo less as the chemicals used in the shampoo also damages the hair quality.
4) Never Use Hot Water To Clean Hairs
People tend to get tempted and wash hairs with hot water. This is the grave mistake that people do as this weakens hair roots and results in hair fall. Always use warm or cool water to wash hairs.
